Common questions

Do I need to press record first?

No. That is the whole point. Prewind buffers continuously from the moment you open it — pressing the button saves what already happened.

How much storage does it use?

At default settings, about 34 MB of temporary space while the app is open, and nothing at all when it is closed. Settings shows the exact figure against every option.

Why is my clip shorter than the buffer length?

The buffer had not finished filling, or the camera restarted — switching camera or changing quality starts a fresh buffer. Prewind always reports the true length rather than rounding up.

Where do my clips go?

Straight to your photo library. Prewind keeps no copy of its own.

I bought Pro and it is not showing.

Settings → Restore purchases, signed into the same Apple ID used for the purchase.
